1.4MB drive on a Mac+ ?

I thought the Mac Plus could only handle/recognize 800k disks, and didn't have the drivers for a SuperDrive (1.4MB.) Is your experience different?

I think there was an AE drive

I think there was an AE drive that could do 1.4Mb disks in an non ROM-upgraded mac. Otherwise yeah you're stuck with 800k.
