Powerbook 3400c Network Problem

Don't know if anybody out there can help, but after installing os 9 I cannot connect to my network, even though all my settings are correct.

When I go to the system profiler, it states that my network, i.e. IP address etc are unknown.

I have tried resetting the PRAM, but to no avail. I want to wipe the hard drive and start again but I have over 80Mb of stuff I need to back up and the only way to do this is with the floppy drive, which will take bloody ages.

Any ideas anyone.

Powerbook 3400c
240Mhz
48Mb RAM
3Gb HD
Mac OS 9

3400 no ethernet

Hello,

I read your post about no ethernet after the update. Did you reset your TCP/IP settings after the update??. Are you using a LAN/DSL setup??. Manual or automatic IP address??. Is you server set as DHCP server in the TCP/IP settings.
