Not with the onboard USB devi

Not with the onboard USB device. USB is a complex beast and not really designed for 8 bit machines. Without going into a lot of detail, there are two types of USB devices, master and slave. The slave is the attaching device like your pen drive, the Master is your PC. In order to make a connection like you want, this requires that the replica 1 be the host or master device. Making a USB adapter for jump drives is possible but it is not what the onboard USB does. It is a slave device that attaches to a PC creating a serial COMM port on your PC. To create a USB slave device and have the replica be the master device is a project that would take some time. My immediate goal is simple to interface to a PC or Mac so software can be transferred over. I believe a CF adapter is in the works by Rich Dreher for the Apple 1/replica 1.

Talk about a thread-jacking!

Janet, post your question in Kiwi. This is not an appropriate place to ask an iPod question.

Actually.....

Would be nice to use an ipod as a video monitor! Ipod needs a composite video input.
