iBook 300 Mhz Tangerine For Sale

Hello,
the Patience of my folks has run out on this iBook and it's been giving it's walking papers. My skills with Apple unit repairs are unfortunately seriously lacking with iBooks, so though I bought the unit originally to rebuild, when I managed to put in a new Hdd, I managed to bungle something; my loss is your gain, but because of the spotty nature of it's performance I'm going to say it's a part's machine, albeit one with some goodies that might be worth your while;

So, without further Adeau, here are the final specs;
-iBook 300 Mhz Tangerine
*This unit is stock with one ethernet, one RJ-11 56k modem, 1 USB port, etc, and a bright crisp LCD monitor with no marks
-128 Megs of Ram
-40 Gig hdd
-original x24 CD-rom drive
-newish battery, holds at least an hour's charge
-45 Watt Powerbook A/C Adapter 'brick'.
-Targus laptop case

When I bought the unit, I ended up replacing the keyboard with a gently used Tangerine unit, and the top case and trackpad with a blueberry topcase (i.e. the mouse button is blueberry and the plastic is white smooth as opposed to a textured translucent). Additionally the 40 Gig Hdd (the start of my troubles in putting something back wrong) is basically brand new, less then five months old and barely used. It's a 5400 RPM model, and has OS X 10.2.8 on it. I don't have the time to play guess and check with the unit overall, so I'm just selling it as it is. I'm hoping to sell all the items together in a kit, but if response is limited I'll probably end up splitting it up. Either way my loss is your gain;

Price: first 150 USD gets it all, shipping to be determined upon sale, but I will NOT charge an arm and a leg for some space age foam or extra charges in shipping; what I'm quoted is what I'll report. I hope someone has a home for the Tangerine, it's a nice machine, I just don't have the time to trouble shoot. Oh, and Airport is NOT included, HOWEVER; if someone comes forward wanting to plop down 150 for all of it, I'll include a Orinoco Wavelan gold, stripped of it's external casing. Believe it or not it's possible to substitue it for an airport card and barely fit it under the keyboard. Also, I'm not considering trades of any kind; I lost my iMac Rev A that way, I appologize, but the money is to offset the purchase of a new Portable unit. Thanks!
