Reinstall...
You do have the disks, don't you?
hardly ever works
thanks davintosh, but everything else works fine. Yes I have the CS2 installer disks... but this error only shows up on one Mac, using one file.
Since the post I narrowed it down to a linked image, but if you make a brand-new document and place the same image into it, no error occurs.
Weird!
