I'm not sure where to post this, but this is probably the best bet:

This guy claims he put a clamshell board into a imac g5 casing and he's using the built in display of the imac- sounds like a load of hooey to me, and I told him so (I'm babseden)

Any thoughts on this?

If anyone wants my technical reasons for thinking he's full of it, just ask!

I'm wondering where he's gett

I'm wondering where he's getting an otherwise empty iMac G5 to stuff them in anyway, and why do it when the worth of that is probably more on the used market anyway.

I'd want to see a full shot of the innards. A system screen shot is easy to fake. As for buying one, I'd surely have to have it plugged in and running before any money changed hands.

This is one of the "Why?" -- "Because I can." hacks. The worth if an iMac G5 is so much more than an iBook hacked in anyway...

Yeah, I think he's full of it

No way I'd consider buying it though. you can get a 17 inch g4 imac for what he wants
