Ok new problem, the hardware test says this error: 2Fan/4/7:Rear Main Enclosure.
Nuts. any ideas?

did you try resetting the PowerManager? I think that would control it. Try that.
You will have to lookup according to your model on how to do that.
Yup, I tried it. It didn't work enough though it was a great idea, thanks. It really doesn't effect the function of the notebook, it's just annoying. Any other ideas? Thanks again!
