To replace my iMac I've been looking at Powermac G4's and especially the Cube. In many ads sellers say that Tiger runs nicely. But I was unsure. Mainly I'm looking at the 500 Mhz Cube and want to have at least 1 gb of ram.

ive had tiger on a cube with stock configuration with 512mb ram and it ran quite well, but dashboard was like hell, so i disabled that. you wouldnt notice much of a difference between the 450 and 500mhz versions i dont think and it would definately be worth upgrading the graphics card, and if youve got the cash, a processor upgrade.
I figured that about dashboard but I really don't like it so no loss to me. But I actully am considering a sonnet upgrade after I get a cube.
