Hello, I just owned an apple II plus with interface card and generic language card. I dismanted it, cleaned etc. now it' s very nice, but I ve got a problem: with many disks (like for example prodos utilities ) I receive various overflow messages and it' s strange 'cause those disks worked in a 64k apple IIe enhaced (without 80/64 card). I' m not very expert in these machines expecially in plus or older. Could be the generic language card broken? I think it' s connected well in slot 0 with
the strip plugged well (I don' t think in lose contacts, I sprayed a bit deoxidizer K6 and all works well). There' a good test for language cards ram...? if yes i could transfer it with ADT pro....

Apple II plus overflow error
I revise the post I made rom tests and receive several checksum errors.... if I type list in applesoft i receive overflow error ecc. What do you think? someone can help me?
Pull out the ROM chips (the big chips in front of the slots) and clean the metal legs with contact cleaner. Plug them back in. Don't forget which order and direction they go in. You may want to clean all the chips if you have enough time. Corrosion and oxidation tends to degrade the electrical contact the chips make with the sockets over time.

Thank you, I pulled away all roms, sprayed and it' s all ok. I checked with apple II plus diagnostics and it detects two bad roms with loot of errors. Now I' m waiting a new rom pack. Ram and cpu tests are ok.
