wallstreet processor upgrades

i think i've asked about this within other threads before, but i'd like to see a list of the processor upgrades that are still available for the wallstreet series. with christmas coming, i'm either gonna plant the idea of an upgrade card or buy one myself if i get a gift card. i know the g3 processors are cheaper, but i hear that the altivec in the g4 processors will improve my graphics performance. anyone think it's worth that?

you know what...i did a searc

you know what...i did a search and realized how many times i've asked about stuff relating to this. surprise! i'll just shut up now, make my own list, and order a processor myself. so rather than hear me moan about my 250 (which i still love to papers and web browsing) you'll all hear me give praise about whatever upgrade i get. comments always help, but no wonder people are tired of this. sorry Acute

My suggestion is that you jus

My suggestion is that you just move on. Get a Pismo or an iceBook. Pismos are dirt cheap! 600 MHz iceBooks go for less than $200 on eBay, and you are likely to pay about $150 for a Wallstreet upgrade. That money just doesn't make sense...

Plus, both will easily run OS X, play DVDs, and load Linux. From what I remember of your multiple posts on the topic, those are the things you want to do with your Wallstreet.

Peace,
Drew

yes, i've heard this all befo

yes, i've heard this all before. i already have a clear icebook, but it's in parts because my gpu fried. i'm thinking of trying to attaching the casing that i made clear to an ibook g4 chasis with the components from my 933 g4 inside. as much as i'd like a pismo, i'm keeping my wallstreet because i've loved it since i got it and it's my ongoing project computer. i guess it's just a case of nostalgia, but i might be getting a pismo from a friend in the future.
