Slot Loading iMac G3 and OS X

I have a Slot Loading iMac G3 and I try to Install the Firmware update 4.1.9 before installing OS 10.3 but I get an error message code -32. I Zap the Pram and rebuilt the Desktop wiyh no success.

Help???
