I have recently changes all my computers (Powerbook G4, intel core 2 duo 17" imac, and intel core duo Mac Mini) to Leopard.
Whilst the G4 runs without problems, I've had a load of problems with the other two...
The Mac Mini is in work, and I've been using Entourage (as well as the other Office 2004 apps) to run on the (Windows) exchange. There were no problems with OSX 10.4 but all of a sudden, I've had problems with Leopard.
Everything seemed alright at start, and I got everything working OK, then, ALL Office apps refused to start. i also found that any thing downloaded onto the desktop couldn't be seen on the desktop, but could be seen from the HD! Any DVD's inserted wouldn't play, and any blank disks I wanted to burn onto wouldn't do so, and an error message came up. Any DMG downloads I tried to open would try and open through the disk utility. My external firewire hardrive refuses to mount, although it will on an other Mac.
I first blamed Mocrosoft and office 2004 for not being Intel native, BUT the problem persists on the 17" iMac despite doing a clean install.
I hope someone can explain this, but no one on apple's site have come up with an answer...
