interesting LCD/TV/display kit

First off, these ain't _my_ items, but I'm intrigued by the possibilities:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3093361942

Kit for a Samsung LTM150XP-L01 15" LCD (1024 X 768) with TV tuner, plus inputs VGA, S-vid and composite, all running off a DC power supply . . . verrrrry interesting.

or with the LCD:

I dunno how expensive are the LCD panels by themselves:
http://search-desc.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&catref=C6&ht=1&from=R10&query=ltm150x*&sacategory=-1%26catref%3DC6&bs=Search&sotextsearched=2&sapricelo=&sapricehi=&soloctog=9&sosortproperty=1%26sosortorder%3D1

. . . didn't turn up much. Still, it seems like an interesting item for . . . well hacking, you know. Smile

A Grailish sort-of-thing . . .

old thread, but just remembered it. Original eBay link still works as of now, but won't for much longer.

eBay vendors are ecluster, techbench and dollarelectronics, looks like the same outfit selling under different names. Found them by searching for the LCD panel's model number "LTM150XP".

What's intriguing is I believe it's an LVDS control board, so ought to work with any supported rez LCD.

Might just have to buy one and find out . . .
