HELP . How to make work music disk !

Hello guys,
I have a problem.
I try remember my apple times operating a apple II emulator. Applewin version 1.17.2.0.
I downloaded a sound program called music disk from asimov ftp. The program is in disk image. But when i run it happened any problems.

1 - The emulator show me an error: "File not found" "break in 10". Running the "list" command i see the line calling the hello. ok.

2 - Typing the command "cat" i'm encountered a bin file called "Editor" then i running it with "BRUN EDITOR" and YES. The program Executes. I chose the option "play some music";jukebox because a lot the sounds like sonata and air for execute. The program ask me if i want erase the memory. I aswer "y" (yes). The program ask me to insert music diskette i slot 6 drive 1. Well in my old apple the files was loaded then i chose what the music i would like hear, but in the emulator the screen return for menu and repeat and repeat.

My question is:

The emulator have problems?; The music disk have problems?; The fact of don't hello running occasioned this error?

PS: I have conviction the drive is slot 6 drive 1.
Sorry for my english error.

Thank for all.

Files on the disk

What other files are listed on the disk when you type "cat"? It may be that there are no music files on that disk. If there are no music files on the disk then that is why it is asking for the music disk. You are right about what slot and drive the program is running from. I might download that disk and have a look at it myself.

Disk Image

I already downloaded the disk image that you were mentioning. I see the problem you're talking about and at the moment I'm not sure how to fix it but if I do figure something out I'll let you know.

:)

I found the image you are talking about.

There's two disks in that zipfile. Try running the other disk. The one without the editor seems to work pretty good.

I have converted the 'editor' disk to a ProDOS image with just the music files and a rudimentary startup program on it. It will allow you to play the music. Simply boot the disk image in Applewin and then when it asks you which song, just type the song filename and press enter.
