Airburst Network Bug

I downloaded and installed the new 1.055 version yesterday, but it seems to have created a big problem with the network version. Whenever I tried to host or join a game on GameSmith the opening movie would play normally but then the screen would be completely black. The music and sound effects played normally but it was just impossible for me to see what I was doing. Could you perhaps shed some yellow chatoyanite on this problem? I know that there's some way to create an error log for AirBurst, but I don't remember how as I've never needed to use it before.

Updating Airburst shouldn't affect Airburst Network as they're seperate apps, however it's possible that your Airburst Network prefs have been damaged somehow. Again, they're seperate from the Airburst ones, but having no visible screen is the sort of problem you'd get with damaged prefs.

Currently though, Airburst Network is still on 1.053 as the new modifications to Airburst for 1.053 and 1.055 can't be applied to Airburst Network until we get a new update of the GameSmith libraries. The version compiled in Airburst Network is fairly out of date and the current version won't compile with it. So you *might* be getting a conflict in using the current GameSmith server with an older build of the GameSmith client code.

Once Airburst Extreme is done, we'll be going back over our older games and seeing if we can do some spring cleaning and updating.
