I have an problem where my menu has disappeared and I need it back. Does anyone know how to FORCE the menu to start. I am refering to the main menu at the top of the desktop.
No known cause for the loss, no known viruses. Please Help

I have identified that I have an extension problem, but still want to know the answer...
Still trying to find the offending extension.

Which menu is missing... The whole menu bar? What OS are you using?
The primary menu bar with the Apple Menu, File, Edit, View, Window, Special Help, the Clock and the other misc debris. It is just gone, or at least was. I have been dicking around with my extensions and was able to isolate (many hours and countless restarts later) the offending extensions and have moved them off to a quarantined folder away from the reach of Extensions Manager.
The OS is 9.2.2. I am at a point now where I have gotten control of the situation (for now). Since I am in the middle of a massive resbuid of my iMac, and will be tackling x later today, you may hear from me as things get crazy later.
Thanks!!!

If this is your first install of X, make sure to do the firmware updates before you start. Someone forgot to do that and I got an iMac for $10 as a result. :ebc:
