I am trying to create a new user in the accounts pane in system prefs on X.3.5
I tried clicking on the plus sign (add user) but to no avail...
I have tried this from my admin account and also logged in as root....
Am I doing something wrong?

But did you make sure the lock on the bottom of the screen is unlocked?
yes, i did... i thought that at first too, but it wasnt that
any other ideas?
repair permissions
did that... no dice. I'm at a loss, and really dont want to have to re install
