R.I.P. Wallstreet

Well, that's it. My dear old PBG3 Wallstreet 300mHz is dead. It bit the apple and now it's in Apple Heaven.

Anyways, Are there any salvagable parts on this thing? The screen would need a VGA Translation thingie, I know, but anything else? Any ideas for hacks with the spare parts?

Backlight dead?

Known issue when X installed. Probably not HW, more a NVRAM or PRAM issue IIRC.

I never had the problem so don't remember the solution, but IIRC it was quite easy to fix if one knows how. In fact, I'm sure Apple has docs on the problem, search the Apple KB.
