emate - ribbon cable repair

One side of the LCD cable is done. I used wire strands taken from a CPU power supply fan wire. They're darned tiny, but so's the cable.
The ribbon cable repair sites I've been to just don't give you a sense of how small this cable is. I was reading the one PDF available and thoought 'geez, why's that guy using such heavy packing tape?' Turns out it's standard 1" wide masking tape. You can get a bit of scale from the X-Acto knife in the photo.
I practiced on an LCD cable from a dead Powerbook 160 before doing the emate.
Testing with a multi-metre shows I've done the repair successfully. Once it's back together, we'll see...
