Mini Mac has no audio input?

I just got my minimac, which I love, but I am afraid of something. Is it impossible to input audio? There is no microphone input! Would a usb microphone work with OSX? Or something like that?

Not really.
From what I coult tell from Apple's website, the output jack seems to be both the sound input and output jack. I'm guessing this means that you could record audio with no speakers connected to that jack, only the input device. Then you could use a USB speaker system. Don't run out and buy it now, though. I'm not sure on this, as the wording was quite flakey. You should try it using only the internal speaker to see.

Nope. Apple's tech specs say it's line-out only. An iMic will let you input and output audio simultaneously, and has better audio out quiality than Apple's internal hardware.

Thanks for helping. At one point in time Apple's website said it was a combo port, which didn't make very much sense to me at all.
