Hey everyone!
Have you also experienced a strange problem concerning backing up to for example a Lacie disc? As soon as some of the files includes a letter type / or something, or if the name of the file is too long, the computer refuses to back it up on the Lacie... that´s funny. It just says "can´t copy the file" and so forth.
Does anyone know the solution for this problem? Joliet app is not one, cause it only works in OS9.

...the format of that drive? is it fat32 or hfs/hfs+ formatted? how big is it? which mac are you using with which system on it?
a few details would be helpful
What LaCie is it? They've been around for years with many models. USB, FireWire, SCSI, etc.
