PowerMac 5300/100 LC boot problem

Hey, I just picked up a Power Macintosh 5300/100 LC from a friend and am having problems. First of all I would like to say that this is the first Mac I ever had the pleasure/displeasure/etc to play around with.

When I boot up I have a gray screen with an upside-down disk with a blinking "?" in it. The mouse input is working fine, but the system is halted.

I have no idea what version of the OS it is running.

The blinking question mark means the hard drive has no OS or the hard drive cannot be found. If i remember correctly it can run 7.5.3 which can be downloaded from Apple's website.

There is a hdd in it (checked).

I found the download, 19 .bin files. Does this create an iso to burn to cd and boot with? How does this work?

I have no mac-formatted floppies if I need them.

Cancel on that one... I replugged the hdd and it booted. It runs OS 8 with 48mb physical memory.
