Newton MP120 keyboard options

Well I've had this thing for a few months now and have decided to research the keyboard options for it. I know that they made one but not sure if I can find one at a decent price. Would be great to use your standard run of the mill ADB keyboard...but there is only a serial port. Right, any hacks or info or pointers or ideas would be greatly appreciated. OK for now.

P.S. Dear Mod. I wasn't sure what forum to put this in...this was my best guess...move as needed.

not many options

you may find a keyboard here.

Most prices I have seen for these are prestty consistent and can go up to $60 USD. They are harder and harder to come by.

As far as hacks go, there are some Palm StoAway keyboards that are easy to hack for use with a newton, but only certain modles of keyboard. There are some hacks underway for USB and for Blue Tooth.

Try posting your question over on NewtonTalk.

Looks like hoops

Well since my post i've been googling around to try and find an answer. Short one is that I have an inferior machine and it would take more money than I spent on it to get it to do what I want. I was hoping to use it as instant on word processor that I could carry around in my bag to use when ever the mood struck me. There I run into the hassle of getting said ramblings off of the Newt onto another machine. Also the fact that there is no backlight kind of hampers on the ease of use. I shouldn't call it an inferior machine, just maybe not quite capable of what I want to do. I guess I'll keep poking around since DDTM has handed me a seemingly exhustive resource in the NewtonTalk list. If anyone else has ideas I'd love to hear them.
