Hi all! I just stumbled across this forum and thought I'd drop in. I've been an apple nut since about five years ago when I stumbled upon a mint IIgs Woz edition. Never could afford one back in the day. Now I love 'em.

Anyway, I scored this trashed IIc awhile back. Real dirty with a bad drive and a big burn mark on the underside. I had to fix it, you know? Poor little thing.

HELP - How do I CREATE DSK Image files?

Hi.

I have a Mac 575 with Apple iie Card. It works great. I can read, run,
play all my Apple iie disks/games.

I want to run Apple iie Emulation on my PC or iBook. I have both.

I can easily and HAVE downloaded several different Emulators/Roms and they
works great. I have found all the disks for like AppleWorks, Dazzel Draw,
Etc.

I have OTHER Disks, and Games that I made years ago...

I want to CREATE Disk Images of them, to then run in emulation on my PC and
Mac.

HOW?

Apple profile harddisk

I was wondering how much a working profile harddrive for an apple II is worth. I am pretty sure it works, it powers up and everything, the ready light coems on, but i don't have the right hardware to test it.

Help Transfering files to my Apple IIe

I have been trying to send some files to my Apple, but I have not had much luck. The first thing I was trying to do was get shrinkit on to my apple so I could unpack the files I sent. I started by sending unshk2plus.bsc. I sent it thru a null modem cable using Hyperterminal on my PC and using the IN#1 comand on my apple. When i attempt to send the file over to my apple, my apple recieves a bunch of strange strings of charactors. for example "skljsajdsa$dfsijdfijfd48439430l" then I recieve sytax error and more strange charactors get sent over to my apple. I am trying to create the geos install disks for my apple 2 I have all the files but I just can't transfer them to my apple correctly. Any help would be appreciated.

Help!

I snagged myself an Apple ][C Plus, and the thing works great, except that outside of the system disk I have no software for it. Seeing as it uses 3.5 disks, I figured I'd be able to get software over to it quite easily. MISTAKE.

The Best Apple II Graphical Adventure Games

Greetings, everyone. A friend and I are writing a book on the history of the Graphical Adventure Game (e.g., King's Quest), but neither of us had Apple IIs back in the day, yet we are aware of the tremendous importance the platform had for early GAGs. We've been playing through games like Mystery House and Time Zone, but I was wondering if anyone here would like to point out which GAGs were really innovative and popular back during the Apple II's heyday. In other words, what Apple II gags would you guys really want to see mentioned and discussed in a book like ours?

Looking for a couple of really old Applie ][ games.

I'm guessing it was around 1988-1990 when I last played these... I remember printing out a banner for my dad using... I don't even remember what it was, PrintShop or something maybe, just that the banner printed on one of the really old printers you needed to thread the paper into, with the little holes and the tear-off strips, heh.
