Apple II RAM issue ?

Hello Community,

I was struggling to make a language card working and I have been investigating like hell including changing the SRAM chip with older one... A complete disaster.

The language card was actually working and the fault is coming from the Apple II

I have run the Memory Dead Test ROM from MisterBlack (Adrian). And my issue is coming from the RAM circuitery.

The result of the RAM test is :

Help with a non powering Apple iie

Hello!

Although I'm new here I have been on the 68KMLA forums for a while. Anyways, I've mentioned this because the problem I'm having had also been discussed over on that forum, but since they're more 68K Mac oriented, help has been a bit scarce.

What is the most likely issue with the grid screen?

Hello,I have an issue with my //e.It turns on fine, but there's always a grid pattern on the screen ,it doesn't seem to affect anything else though as it works fine, I cantexcute basic commands and programs, so it doesn't seem to affect the function.I don't know if it's a stuck bit in memory, or a video logic issue, but I've ran the self-test multiple times and it passes each time, so it seems there aren't any ram issues or other major issues.

NEW BOOTI FIRMWARE

For anyone with a BOOTI card who has not already seen this, there is new firmware for the card that shows long filenames and eliminates goofy Mac resource files from the selection list. You can download the updater with new firmware here.

Late „Language Card“ AE 16k Pocket Rocket

Hello,

I‘m looking for Informations about the Applied Engineering 16k Pocket Rocket, which was a late „Language Card“ for the Apple II/Apple II +, populated with 2 CMOS RAM chips, a  bus-driver and a PAL.

I have found only poor quality pictures, and only just from the Front side, not from the back side.

Retro Magazines Ep:02 - C&VG - Christmas 1981

It's December of 1981 and we are closing in on Christmas.

What will be the big stocking fillers this year?

Will Santa be brining you a ZX81 for you to solder together, or a sparkly new Apple II tower of power?

Or maybe its a handheld Puck Man or one of the new fangled Game and Watches from Nintendo.

This is a jam packed edition where £69 kit computers vie for column inches with the Vic 20,

Atari 800, Apple II+ and TRS-80.
