For those curious about how VidHD handles NTSC artifact colors in HGR and DHGR graphics modes, here is a video capture of several Apple II programs:

Gibberish video upon bootup of an early series Apple ii

What could be wrong with my Apple ii? When I turn it on, I only see gibberish video output. No speaker beep sound.

Am not sure if 1) am not using the right display - just attached it to a video grabber USB dongle. 2) my keyboard is not working hence the reset signal is not being sent to the computer for it to boot properly. 3) something else is wrong.

I had already replaced the power supply with a new one from Reactive Micro.

Does anyone produce the EDM (Extended Debugging Monitor) ROM or EPROM that I could use in Platinum IIe?

Apple Keyboard cutout

I'm working on a case design and a keyboard design, and am wondering if anyone has a tested, known good pattern for the apple II/II+ keyboard cutout. A standard format like DXF would be great.

Enhancement Kit Issues

Purchased an enhancement kit from ReactiveMicro. It is the US kit.

I also have the 80 col/64k card. On boot, the correct Apple \\e shows up. When I hit closed Command/Closed Apple/Reset I get multicolored squares instead of lines. I can also put in the PR#3 command and get 80 column text. When I boot into Proterm, ProDos, Agate, or Appleworks 3.0 I get the message: This program needs a 65c02 processor to run.

Looking for the name of the power connector

Hi!

Does anyone know the name of the power connector of an Apple II or Apple IIe? I want to give some of my IIe a new power supply but I don't want to cut the connectors from the Astec power supplies because I want to repair or service some of them later.

BTW I decided to buy the Meanwell RQ-65B and RQ-85B (26Euros/35Euros in West-Germany).

Clone ROM cards

I had a few clone motherboards that were missing their ROM cards so I had some made.

The cards are for the type of common clone that has 64K and a z80 on the mainboard. The minimum order to get boards made was 10 so I have a few more than I needed.
