With the big theme being the 6502 and having Bill Mensch as a keynote, I was asked by the VCF East steering committee to teach a class in troubleshooting. I expect to cover how I restore the real Apple-1s and how to troubleshoot a nearly 45 year old machine vs a new one with 45 year old parts.
I am also hoping to get a special adapter made up for the show so that we can replace the 6502 on a Mimeo with the MOnSter 6502 ( https://monster6502.com ) . I have to clock the CPU down to 25 KHZ, yes kilohertz but still have everything else work on the Apple-1. This should be fun. pretty sure the Cassette adapter won't work so I'll have to use a keyboard RS232 adapter and load software the old fashioned way via virtual keyboard.
Hopefully some of you can join me there.
Cheers,
Corey
That's great! I hope to make it.
