LCD for classic Mac?

Has anyone heard of anyone replacing the monitor of a classic Mac (Plus, SE, Classic) with an LCD? If so are there any directions floating around?

The CRTs for them are common

The CRTs for them are common enough still that I wouldn't [personally] even consider it. Analog boards also pop up very regularly at auction. With all the unfortunate battery bombed SE/30 logic boards, the analog boards and CRTs typically escape alive.

Also the power supply for the machine is involved / mounted to the Analog BD, so replacing the tube with something else would possibly start you down a road where keeping the Logic board original, or at least powering it, would then become difficult.

I’ve heard of LCDs in them,

I’ve heard of LCDs in them, more often in Color Classics. I don’t have any instruction though as I haven’t done that mod myself. Should be some info on the Color Classic sites.

I've actually designed and

I've actually designed and have made a PCB that takes ATX power in, and connects to the plus/classic/ii motherboard and outputs over a HDB15 - haven't built it out yet though, life has got in the way
