Suggestions for a intensive disk utilitiy for windows 2003 server?

I have an old dual pentium 3 600mhz server that was being tossed so i acquired it. Anyway, I also got a nifty sca hotswap scsi raid backplane from another server and decided that i will use that for my file/web/active directory server at home (i want to learn server stuff).

Anyway, win2k3 server (standard) is running great. I put it on a 9 gig ultrawide narrow scsi drive (not an sca hotswap drive). It is connected to the 1st scsi bus on the motherboard. I then hooked up the hotswap backplane to the other scsi bus on the motehrboard. I then stuck 4 drives into the backplane. 2 18 gig, 1 9 gig, and 1 35 gig. I then made all 4 of the disks dynamic and then made the 35 gig drive its own separate partation but i spanned the 3 smaller drives as one large 44 gig drive. So i have one partation E that is made up of the 2 18 gig and the 1 9 gig drive.

I then went ahead and started copying a bunch of stuff from my old server to the spanned drive (i didn't want toput anything critcial on the spanned array since i know that if one of the drives dies in the span, it kills the whole spanned array.)

It then started giving me errors after a while saying "write delay failed". Disk managment ended up showing the drive as unhealthy and failed. I then blew out the span and made each of the drives their own partiton. I ran the throuogh scandisk on the 3 drives (the 2 18s and the 1 9 gig). The scandisks were perfect.

I then blew out the 3 partiions and rebuilt the spanned array. I'm now just copying as much stuff as I can to that array just wondering if i can get it to crash again but what I would really like is a recommendation on a intensive disk testing program that will work under win2k3 server that wiil flog these drives hard.

I would strongly perfer a freeware/shareware program that would do the job if there is one available.

Thanks for the recommendation

Thanks for the recommendation. It turned out that the sca hotswap array was going bad. it finally quit on me and would no longer allow the card to detect drives. I tossed it and got another hot swap array and all is well with the world now. I built something neato too to go along with my "new" server. I will make a new post about it though.
