I've been offered one of these beasts for $700.00. I have two questions. Has anyone had any experience with them? I'd love to hear both the good and the bad. The second question, is do you all think this display is worth $700.00? Thanks!

Anyone? I have to make this decision by 5:00 pm eastern time, or else this display is going to someone else. No pressure or anything.

They have been going for between 550 and 800 on ebay lately, according to my just-completed casual research. If you are being rushed on this decision, I would say pass it up. These things are only going to get cheaper and unless you really need one right now, you can almost certainly find a better deal by biding your time a bit.
Thank you for your reply, I honestly appreciate your imput, but I do have disagree with you. I did my own research before making my initial post, and I've just done some more to verify it. The only 20" apple LCD's that sold for under $800.00 were the older clear plastic ADC displays. Even those displays often sold for around the $700.00 I can get for the DVI display. I am not in the market for one of those as it is ADC, and I really need DVI imput. To use one of the ADC displays I would need a $99 adapter.
The cheapest 20" aluminum display I could find sold for $812.00. The average seemed to be around $850.00-$875.00 though. I also can't see Apple dropping the price on their displays anytime soon. They already did so fairly recently, and it isn't like Apple to drop their prices very often. So, if I'm correct and Apple doesn't drop the price of their displays anytime soon, then the price of used displays is also not going to change very much.
I also feel that buying an expensive display through eBay is risky. This way, I get to physically inspect the display before commiting to the purchase. I also don't have to worry about the exhorbitant cost of shipping. A quick casual look would on eBat shoes that I would likely pay around another $50.00 for shipping.
I am more concerned about peoples actual experiences with this particular display. Anyone have any experience with them?

It's too late now, but I found the 20" clear Apple LCDs to be absolutely phenominal at everything. The quality was better than any LCD I could find to compare it to.
I just wanted to update you all. I decided to go for it and I have no regrets. Seeing one of these things in the Apple Store is one thing. Having it on your desk and having your own computer drive it is quite another. I'm really impressed with it.
