Root User - Acct Creation

Ok, here's the thing

I want to be able to log on in single user mode, and create an administrator account on the machine.

Just something I've always fancied doing, but not sure if it is actually possible.

Any ideas?????

There is already at least one

There is already at least one administrator account on the machine, so you won't need to create one. You can follow the steps on this page if you want to enable the root account and actually use it:

I haven't tried, but I would

I haven't tried, but I would wonder if it is possible, as this would be another way to bypass security of OS X. Of course, if one has enough access to physically boot the machine into single user mode, security is mostly moot, barring enciphered filesystems.
