Overclocking titanium g4

I spent yesterday afternoon searching for a solution to this but didn't real find anything satisfactory. I have a Titanium 667 DVI. I want to overclock it but haven't been able to find what I'm looking for. Has anyone here done this? Anyone know of any links to others who have? Any help would be much appreciate, thanks.

done

It took me about half an hour of tedious soddering last night to get this one done, but metronome shows 800mHz and I haven't noticed any significant change in temp. I'll write up a how-to when I get a minute so English translation isn't necessary.

interesting quirks

So metronome and asp both show 800mhz in os9 but all of the OS X utilities I've found still show it at 667. XBench testing in osx also shows it on the high side of the 667s, not up in the 800 realm. Others on xlr8 have said that their overclocks show up in OSX utilites, so I'm not sure what the issue is. Anyone here have any ideas as to what's going on here?

The OS X utilities could just

The OS X utilities could just be polling your Gestalt ID and reporting the stock system speed from there. It means that the Utility isn't measuring the actual system performance, but reading a value from a pre-defined list.

As for the performance utilities, I'm not sure why it's not benching higher. Although, one might look at other differences between the machines: stock memory of the 800 vs. your memory, Hard Drive specs, amount of cache, etc.

Cheers,
