just a little note

I have OS X installing on the original drive now. I put your HD in the Freezer for about an hour, gave it a quick *thunk* on the upper-right corner of the drive and it spun to life. Not sure how long it will last though...
I will test it Thoroughly to make sure that it will work okay.

Skype me.

It's up!

I have OS X ver. 10.2.8 on it. I have to say, this isn't a bad web browser. But then again, this has a 512MB Dimm from the PB Pismo in it. I am using itunes on it in the background playing internet radio. You'll need at least to replace the 128MB dimm with a 256 for actual usability in os x. I also have CPU Director running the cache at 200MHz now. That is up from the 150MHz it normally is. I might install 10.3 'cuz 10.2 is kinda bloated. The hard drive is working so far with nary a hiccup. The screen is pretty bright. So seeing it isn't a real problem. um... I would not say 800x600 Rez is the greatest, but it runs safari pretty nice. I will fine tune the system more before you get it back.

EDIT: I wrote this post with the ibook!

10.3 is installing on it.

THat will make it run a bit faster. I know 10.2 is sooo bloated. I will edit this post when it is in 10.3. The HD is running strong, and I already have classic on it. I can't wait to try this out in X.3. I have to say, this is a nice laptop. I also repaired the Power Adapter by splicing the cable and putting a cable from Yo-Yo adapter on it. The yo-yo was defective as the adapter itself have a loose solder joint in the inside where the AC plugged into it.
