Sometimes when I turn my se/30 on, I get these vertical bars and always no sound. After a few seconds, it starts normally. What's wrong?

I think that is pretty common, I have several "compact macs" and seems like they do that kind of thing every so often. A friend of mine has several as well and his do it too. I really don't know what it is, I just don't think it can be too bad, all of my macs that do it still work fine.
Oh, Hazel, look. The field! It's covered in blood
How long have you had them?
Well, my both of my SE's have done it since i got them about 1 1/2yrs ago, and it still works fine. My Friend's Classic II has been doing it for the past 2yrs that I know of and his is fine, He also has a few 512k macs and an Original 128k mac and they do it sometimes (He doesn't turn them on very often). I just booted my Classic II and it did not do it on startup, but if i remember it has done it in the past. As far as having the Macs themselves, I don't know how long, They are all 10+ Yrs old.
