We should all know apple are going to use intel processors for their new macs but do you think that Microsoft Could more easily create a Windows Operating System for the mac because they are going to use intel X86 chips.

No, as in, no, they wouldn't. VirtualPC does the job fine on new fast Macs, but native Windows on Apple hardware would be pointless.
EDIT: And... uhh... they're not PCs just because they have some type of Intel processor. Biiiig difference.
there have been pictures around of the developer intel mac running windows xp, in 800x600 on a 23" screen, so it is possible and wouldn't require much effort.
yet again, that could have been bogus. It's quite easy to get windows xp running on a 23" screen at 800x600 res with VIRTUAL PC. Or even the person who took the photos could have just hook the apple display to an PC.
I still haven't seen any definitive evidence to prove that it is possible to run xp nativley on an MacTel.

So, that's straight from Apple that the potential to run Windows on a Mactel exists. That's not proof, but such a beast does not exist in this industry at the Product Announcement stage.
Personally, due to price/performance/gaming issues, I hadn't intended to buy another Mac, with the possible exception of a Mini somewhere down the road. But now I'd rather get a Mactel if it could dual-boot OS X and Win2K or XP natively, instead of another wintel box.
I've been upgrading and maintaining a primary PC and Mac for years now, and the long-term savings of maintaining just one machine that would run both platforms would quickly offset the higher price that Macs command.
