When I boot my Beige G3 Desktop, it desplays mac-boot, unknown word_ What should I do?

first off, what happened before this happened?? did it crash, melt etc?
secondly, if it was justa normal shutdownbefore it happened try, flashing the PRAM, holding down cmd-opt-P-R whilst turning on should do the trick, holdit down until you hold the third bong.
if that doesn't work try booting off a system CD if you have one and see if you can select the Hard drive with your system folder on using the startup disk control panel

Thanks, I reset the PRAM, and it booted right up! It is nicer that I thought G3 233 Mhz, Mac OS X 10.2.8, 384 MB RAM, Photoshop 7.0, Office X!, all for $20.00!!!!
