I've never seen one, but it's a pretty slick bit of kit. Check out the added ports under the handle, the tidy screen adaptation and the glossy user's guide. There's even a little molded plug to block the old USB port in the side. And the stand, wow! Very nifty. A wheelchair joystick input port? Cool!
Sold for quite a bit at auction, I bet it sold for a real bundle when new.

It could be an onscreen wheelchair movement control. I have seen these on other assistive devices that my mom's students use on their wheelchairs. Sadly, those devices use Win CE. They also cost $10,000 for those. Such a shame, as my mom's students could use something like that....
EDIT: I love the 14" screen that it uses. I wonder how much it cost to put that onto the built-in video port
It's got a 12" screen, not a 14". Note the size relative to the bezel, it's the same as a stock iBook.
I see one of Assistive Technology's current offerings in the $7000+ range, to be paid for by Medicare. Easy to see how such nifty engineering 'happens' when there's someone to pay for it. Note that I'm not begrudging Medicare, just explaining how such a cool device's engineering and production is funded. Edit: Here's a contemporary press release
More details - the stereo speakers above the LCD, the power button under the handle.
No mention of a touchscreen in the listing, but it seems logical that it's so equipped.

it does say it is 14". they might have made a mistake
MOTO designed, they also did work on the Cube.
