Powermac G4 quicksilver problems

the other day my Quicksilver G4 867 crashed. it killed my hard drive with. now it crashes everytime during the install of 10.4, 10.3, and 10.2. well not so much as crashes but it says "some errors occured while installing please restart and try again".I have tried EVERYTHING to get this thing to work such as, different ram, different dvd drive, different video card, pulling all the pci cards, pulling the modem and airport cards, reseting pram, reseting nvram, disk repairs, different hdds, different install disks, different ide cables, and so on. Please help.

thanks!

how about the pram battery is it dead, have you tryed a cd rom drive instead of a dvd rom, if its a dvd disk then x out that. it sorta sounds like a cpu is about to die.

then its the logic board diying.cause if you tested every thing thats in the quicksilver in another mac and it all works fine than it has to be the logic board either that the pram or open firmware is corupted somehow
