Powerbook 5300 help

is it possible to take a powerbook 5300cs with a broken screen and replace it with a powerbook 5300c screen. I know about the holy grail post, and please don't tell me i've got a road apple and should upgrade.

do i need to replace the inverter and all the other electronics or can i just buy the lcd panel by itself from www.powerbookguy.com, because th 5300c had an active matrix, and the 5300cs had a passive matrix, and im not sure if the controler for the passive matrix will work on the active matrix

LCD - cable specific

You'll need the matching 'C' LCD cable if you replace your CS LCD with a 'C'. Best dealy is to acquire an entire 'C' display assembly.

If your looking for a display

If your looking for a display cable for the 5300c display, i have one you could have for shipping price. I also have the invertor if you need that too. I also have the entire bezel, hinges and a bunch of other parts from a 5300, everything except for the motherboard, if anyone needs any parts.
