Alright maybe someone else has had this happen before. i recently bought a g5 1.8 tower off ebay. good working order and good physical condtion order. except for one thing, the rear support(leg) on the back has come disconnected from the rest of the case. does anyone know any fixes for this?

. . . or rivets, or screws, or epoxy, or . . . ?

Case is aluminium, IIRC. Spotwelding gear for Al might not be in the typical home hobbiest's tool collection. Still, I'm sure there's a handy welding shop nearby wherever macg4 lives that could do the job in a jiffy for near nuthin'.

Heh, I'd be sure to completely strip all the electronics from the case though before allowing a high voltage spark near the thing. I don't have one, but I hear the G5 case teardown is not exactly fun.

While he's at it, he should have the case powdercoated. Black would look awesome on a G5.

If it's aluminum he could eve

If it's aluminum he could even get it anodized. With a good color choice (even black) it would look great, and be very scratch proof.
