I'd like a Rev. A G3 ROM. I don't want to spend more than $5 on it. I figure people may have one left over from swapping in a Rev. B or C that they wouldn't mind parting with.

why do you want a rev a rom???? . the rev b is much better than the rev a and rev c rom
I suppose a rev B would be better if I planned to use the board's IDE. Seeing as I'm not planning to there is no real difference. I was surprised at how pricey B and C roms were on ebay and at the complete absence of revison A roms. I figured that there must be a lot of revision A roms out there that people would give away practically for free. Someone solved a "default catch" which occured when using their Radeon under Tiger by swapping a C for A. I have this problem and wanted to see that would help me.
That's interesting about the default catch solution. Where did you hear or read about that? I'd be interested. Thanks
I've got at least one Rev A at home (I'm at college now). Next time I run home I can dig around and find it. I'm not sure when that will be, but if you haven't found one by the time I get home, I'll let you know!
