Adaptec 1200A

Anyone know if this is Mac compatible? I need to use it with a G4 450 under Mac OS X Server 10.4.7. Thanks!

BTW adaptecs site doesn't help because alot of their things are Mac supported but it doesn't say so.

No add-in hardware RAID cards will work in a Mac, SCSI, IDE or whatever. Add-in RAID cards are designed to insert their own BIOS into the initial boot sequence of PCs. Macs don't offer a compatible boot environment for such a card to work.

There are, of course, Mac-compatible IDE cards, and since they're (relatively) cheap, you might as well just buy one of those.
