Pulled over while driving so

Pulled over while driving so I could get the shot of my odometer while driving in today. (was somewhere in Wilkinsburg at the time) So far, my 07 focus has fared ok, though it's going in for service after work today - it will take 4-5 tries to start in an intermittent fashion.

My 02 focus suffered an electrical fire two weeks after I finished getting it back on the road. It put me in a position where I had no choice but to buy another car.

very nice. I think my 1998 satty is sitting at 26,000 something. she just got back from a weekend trip, good 100 miles round or so. now she's all dirty!! no matter, she'll get a bath later today.

I think my mother's 07 Mariner has almost 5k on it, she got it last fall.

I'll post one from ax0n's 200

I'll post one from ax0n's 2000 Focus ZX3, as I'm not sure if he's been keeping up around here:

I just bought his old 1995 Escort, and it rolled over 133k on the way home. I'll have to remember to take one when it rolls over 133,700 or so.

That's awesome

Pretty awesine there. Ah, the juvenile fun of odometers. When I had my old volvo, I was sad that I didn't get a chance to got a picture of the odometer when it was at 192,168 miles, with 1.1 on the trip odometer.

After that unfortunate accide

After that unfortunate accident involving an elevator, I had to give up on wearing a cape to work. The orthopaedic surgeon strictly forbade it after I got out of traction. Smile

My wife and I were driving through town one night years ago when I noticed our Blazer was about to turn 100,000 miles, so just as it was turning I pulled over to the curb and got out my camera, even though it was a "no parking," zone on a major street. It was a dark, "shadier" part of town and little did I know, it was a spot that cars pulled over often. Two young locals in long coats came immediately to the car to sell something. I shook my head and waved them off. They looked perplexed and walked away. Then I took the photos and a police car came up next to me to see what the flashes were all about. I felt so guilty for turning 100,000.

Ah yes...

The 133.7 100,000 mile odometer shot. That was a good day. I actually had to do the math and figure out at what mile on my odometer I would have to reset my trip meter to get it to say 133.7 at the same time as the odo read 100k.
