I need to track a couple of emails back to the actual person that sent them. I have the email address they were sent from and the source code of the emails where I can see the IP addresses and the return path. Where do I go from here?
TIA

and here.
I'm sure you know already who you should be phoning if these emails are of a threatening nature, or even if they make you feel in any way at risk.
True, I do not see threats, but the unidentified sender's intentions are not clear at this time.
The sender is doing so from a hotmail account. I have four messages, each with the IP of the machine that sent it, but I am still uncertain of how I can tie a verified human name to the account. The display name may be bogus - what I really want is to ID the account holder.
