iFixit has instructions for replacing the upper case, but they seem to have neglected to provide information on the lower case. Does anyone know of any instructions for this?

The bottom case of the 12" PowerBook, unlike in the iBook, doubles as the frame that holds everything together. To replace it, you pretty much have to remove everything -- drives, fan & heatsink, logic board, display assembly. Not a fun job. Ask me how I know.
So....how do you know?

hmm...how much would you guys charge to gut my PB? I already bought the replacement bottom case. I just need it serviced.
