Apple II Emulator and Your Apple II

Hi,
m trying to get interested In a Piece of software that's the best Apple II emulator you'll ever use. The Emulator is for Mac OS X and it's called Virtual ][. The Developer, Gerald Putter used his own Apple II computer, along with his Mac to create It! And You can Download it for Free! It has realistic drive drive sound effects, Full Mockingboard emulation, even Full Printer Emulation! The Best Part though, is you can transfer your own Apple II Disks to Virtual ][ using your Apple Serial Cable, and Your Mac!! There's even a way to run 5.25" disks, it's an imaginary disk drive called ommidisk. But, it has the old black Disk][ Drives, not the beige "5.25" UniDisks.

(See Attachment Below)

Does anybody have the "5.25" Beige Unidisk Floppy disk drive drives, the ones that came with the Apple II computers in 1985? If you do, maybe you can me.
The Developer, Gerald Putter Told me that there is a special diskette for your Apple II that he can send to you. What it Does, is it analyses your Apple II disk drives, gathers the drive's Technical Specs, and captures each individual sound of your Disk Drive. Then, you can send everything to Gerald Putter, then he will be able to add Unidisk "5.25" Floppy Disk Drive Emulation!

I know that a lot, but if anybody has the "5.25" Unidisk Floppy Drives, Let me know as soon as possible.
Thanks

Re: "5.25 Unidisk

Great do you think you can email Gerald Putter and ask him to give you that Special Floppy Diskette for your Apple II, so that way he get your Disk drive sounds and data?
That Would Be Great?
Here's The Site:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~gp/VirtualII/
Click On Virtual ][ Help Page, and then click on Getting Support. There's is a link to his email right there.
Keep In Mind, that this is a regular Apple II Floppy Disk.
I would really appreciate it if you could do this.
Thanks Very Much

Got an e-mail from him today, and his name is Gerard by the way, he says he doesn't have any disk that will analyze the drive. He also says it would be a simple cosmetic job to add the Unidisk to Virtual ][, all he needs is pictures, which I told him I'd be willing to take.

Also the Omnidisk in Virtual ][ is NOT a 5.25 drive. It supports disk images of 3.5 disk or hard disk images (.2mg or .hdv). So anything from a 400k 3.5 disk image to a 32meg hard disk image can be mounted in Virtual ][ using the Omnidisk drive.

Now I'm waiting to hear back from him about taking pics of the Unidisk for him.

You're welcome. I've had other people help me since I got back into the Apple II community, so I try to do what I can to help others also.

I've downloaded all the games from Asimov, plus the programming, productivity and utility images. Then I've also downloaded disk images from several other web sites that have Apple II software available.
