I recently bought an external parallel-port iomega zipdisk drive with a 100 mb zipdisk to "replace" my Mac SE's dead hdd. The only problem is that the iomega zipdisk driver 4.2 that I'm trying to use just doesn't want to load. I've been using a 800k disk tools floppy with system 6.0.8 on it and I've also tried to load the driver in system 7.1 on minivmac. Does anyone have any idea why it won't load and what I could do to make it load?

That's a SCSI port. You need a SCSI Zip drive instead.
Is this only for storage? You can't boot from a system on a zip disk, IIRC.

i was able to boot my old 6200 from a zip disk but its painfully slow. might as well try and find a replacement hard drive.
If you have a parallel Zip attached to the Mac's SCSI port, it's likely that you've already killed something.
