Apple II DAVID-DOS

Hi,
Does anybody know of any Apple programs that run DAVID-DOS?
(See Picture Attachment Below)
I already have Railroad Works which runs DAVID-DOS.
Any Others?

There are several different game compilation disks, in either the Misc folder or file-based folder in the games folder in the images folder, at Asimov that use David Dos as their operating system. I couldn't tell you which ones specifically, but i know there are lots of them there.

Apple II Forever!

There was a "speed-up" for The Home Accountant program that ran with David-DOS (HA was very slow in accessing data for reports and searching for transactions). I used this "speed-up" version consistently in the early 80s when I used HA for my personal accounting needs. In about 1985 I switched over to Time is Money, which put all data into RAM and hence was much faster in preparing reports and searching for transactions.

Currently, I am accessing my 1980's accountings for future tax purposes. I am using Virtual ][ on my Mac to run these legacy programs. I find that the David-DOS version of HA does have a bug in it and crashes when I need to prepare certain reports, so I am back to running HA without David-DOS

Now that I am transferring my diskette collection from the 1980s to ".dsk" files on my Mac, I would like to upload my collection of Apple II software to a repository. Any information in this regard would be helpful.

The best place to upload the Apple Ii software you want to is the Asimov Archive located here: ftp://ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/ in fact you might want to look through it to see what is already there. It wouldn't make sense to upload something that is already there but if it's something they don't have that would be great!

In fact the biggest advantage with Divid Dis was the fast loading time of Binary Files and handling sequential textfiles... for that reason the most adventure- and roleplaying games prefered to use David Dos.... and up to my knowledge there had been several patches published in user magazins of those days to overcome the known bugs ( specially that David Dos sometimes crashed when floppy was full and Dos ignored the DISK_Full Flag.... )

I notice that Asimov only has David-DOS and I have a copy of the David-DOS II Installation Disk. It is worth updating Asimov with David-DOS II?

Up to my knowledge the David DOS II is without the End of Disk#crash Bug

I would say it is. Any piece of Apple II software that isn't archived is a possible loss to the community.
