New guy here.....
I just got back to the IIe world after a 25+ year absence.
I remember a program that I used to edit the title screen. It had a bunch of different fonts I could use (from tiny to sans something) However, that part of my memory bank has been wiped clean. I can remember doing the edit, and saving the new screen back to the disk.
I just can't for the life of me remember the program that I used.
Could anyone tell me a few names of the more popular graphics editors?
Thanks
Phil in York Pa.
For HiRes graphics MousePaint and The Graphics Magician were pretty good, The Print Shop could add text to an HGR screen. For Double HiRes graphics DazzleDraw was the standard, it could also add text (I think). I think that AppleWorks with all of the Beagle Brothers add-on's could make text into an HGR screen with a bunch of fonts/sizes. Everything not in the first sentence required the Enhanced chipset and a combination 80 column card 64k (to make a total of 128k) expansion card.

hello Phil in York,
Beagle Bros had several Utility disks that covered this topic....
my first guess to your description would be the Frame Up disk that permitted to create graphics like a slide and then display a kind of slide show,
the next guess would be the Apple Mecahnic disk which permitted to make graphics on the Apple II series with also text to be treated like graphics, and additionaly the Apple Mechanic Typefaces disk that contained ready-to-use collection of graphical fonts.....
These tool-collections have often been used to create own "startup-graphics" to a own disk instead of running any kind of "catalog-command" for listing the content.... some times it was also used in combination ( FrameUP for the startup picture timed and the resume after that to the catalog-command after specified time ).....
sincerely yours

Happy Apple-ing!
I used to use E-Z Draw and MagicPaint if I recall their names correctly.
EZ-Draw => MS-DOS PC Windows
Magicpaint => Mac

Paint deLuxe => IIGS

"EZ-Draw => MS-DOS PC Windows"
I may not have Magicpaint's name down, but I'm pretty sure the app I used on my ][+ for many years was E-Z Draw.
I didn't even use a PC until 1985, a good 6 years after I got my Apple and I've NEVER used a PC for graphics even to this day.
Edit: Found it! E-Z Draw by Sirius Software.
