Just one correction to the publications:
The Apple-1 went off for 671.000,00 U.S. Dollars.........
This topped the last sale from that auctioneer last year that closed at 640.000,00 U.S. Dollars....
Apple-1 seems to enter art-collector-market.....

Hi SpeedG,

If we treat Apple 1 like art, this recent lot deserves more money than the last one last year, like Mona Lisa of Da Vinca compared to his other pieces. As it has the white 6502, ACI and original documentations (also with the documented evidence signed by Jobs that they ran program of exchanging newly released Apple II with Apple 1). It has to be put inside computer museum, but not just for hobbyist anymore.

Hello Michael,
i agree that far, that if the unit´s gat out of use, due to the fact that their owners don´t use them anymore,
and the inheritors don´t use them - then they shall be preserved in museum to the public - they are in fact a
important part of the technical history -
that far, that they opened use of computers to "normal" humans with
"normal" income and therefor have been a keypart in modern computer history as "first personal computers"......

remembering the fact that one of them had been "inserted" in a attaché case - even also the very first "laptop"....

kids visiting a museum should have the chance, to view this startup of one of the main business branches of today....

In fact i´m fan of the habit of Jay Leno and his car-museum....
i do side with his opinion, that best way of preservation is to keep "items" ( in that case the cars ) in "working condition" and getting them moved within scheduled periods....
